The whole appointment takes only a few minutes, and you will leave knowing exactly how to look after the piercing.

1. Before we start

• We check that ear piercing is suitable for you — including any history of skin reactions, metal allergies, keloid scarring, or problems with previous piercings.
• We talk through your choice of stud and where the piercing will sit.
• The position is marked and shown to you for approval before anything happens.

2. The piercing

We pierce earlobes only. Each piercing uses a sterile, pre-sealed single-use cartridge, so nothing that touches your ear has been used on anyone else. You can have one ear done or both.

• Hypoallergenic studs, suitable for sensitive skin.
• A range of stud styles to choose from in store.
• Done by trained staff in a clean, private area.

3. Aftercare

You will be given written aftercare instructions and a cleaning solution. In short: leave the studs in for the full healing period, clean the front and back of the lobe twice a day, and avoid turning or touching the studs with unwashed hands. We will tell you when it is safe to change them.

If a piercing becomes red, swollen or painful, come back and speak to the pharmacist — we would much rather look at it early.

Children: anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who will be asked to give consent. Please ask in store for our current age policy and prices.
